CMS Wizards Batch Protocol Wizard The Batch Protocol Wizard is a fast and efficient means of apply a single protocol to a group of animals in one procedure. It is intended to create multiple treatment records for multiple animals in one easy process. Before beginning this Wizard, you should have created the drugs and defined your protocols. You should have also created the animals by either using the New Animal function or the Batch Cattle Processing Wizard. Batch Cattle Processing Wizard The Batch Cattle Processing Wizard is used to create multiple animal records at once in the Cattle Medical System. This is one means of creating animal records in your database. Before running the Wizard, you should have set up in the Cattle Medical System the Buyer, Source, Lot ID, Description, and Pen for the animal records that you wish to create. Any Processing Protocols that you would like to apply to this batch should also be defined in the Protocols Screen. Medical Screen - Pen Transfer Wizard The Pen Transfer Wizard is provided to allow the mass transfer of animals in the Cattle Medical System. The Pen Transfer Wizard will assist you in moving groups of animals from one pen to another pen. Medical Screen - Shipping Wizard The Shipping Wizard is provided to allow you to ship batches of animals in one easy process. This tool will enable you to Ship groups of animals at one time. Before you begin to use the Shipping Wizard, you should have your animal records created. You should also have your cattle destinations created in the Contacts screen. |
