FLS Medical Screen
Cattle Purchase Screen
The Cattle Purchase Screen is where you will enter cattle into the FLS program. The Purchase Screen captures quantities, weights and prices. In addition, you will set a rate of gain, and indicate the source and pen.
Update Cattle Purchase Screen
This screen is provided to allow you to update purchase information after the cattle have been inducted into your operation. This screen can be used to update pricing, buyers, sources, and anticipated rate of gain information. This screen is very useful when pricing was not available at the time of inducting animals into the feedlot.
Cattle Sale Screen
The Cattle Sales Screen also includes Culls and Post Mortems. In the sales area this screen captures quantities, weights, destination, and prices. In the Culls and Post Mortems, information such as weight, value, deductions and destination are also captured.
Update Cattle Sales Screen
This screen is provided to allow you to update sales information after the cattle have been sold. This screen can be used to update pricing, weights, and the value associated with the Cattle Sale. The same can be done for the Post Mortems and Culls.
Rail Grade Sales Screen
The Rail Grade Screen captures the grading quality of all animals in feedlot. This information can be entered post sale of the animals.
Pen Transfer Screen
The Pen Transfer screen is used to transfer animals from one pen to another. This is done by selecting the Lot and the Current Pen and then defining the number of animals to be transferred as well as the Destination Pen.
Feeding Animals Screen
The Feed Animals Screen is where you will perform the function of "feeding" the animals in FLS. Costs, dry matter percentages, and weights are calculated automatically on this screen.
Lot Expense Screen
The Lot Expenses Screen applies expenses attributable to a Lot beyond feeding. Examples of such expenses would be antibiotics, tags, or processing charges.
Pen Expense Screen
The Pen Expenses Screen prorates the expense item by the number of head to each Lot represented in the Pen. This screen is used to distribute the costs of such Pen expenses as bedding and salt evenly to the Lots present in the Pen.
